A vintage Japanese tea bowl featuring a tapered silhouette that leads to a slightly flared rim.
The body is finished in a semi-opaque, oat-toned glaze densely peppered with dark iron spots (teppun) from the firing. The unglazed base reveals a contrasting, vibrant reddish-orange clay body, a cleanly defined foot ring (kodai), and an incised potter's mark accompanied by dark iron-slip accents along the glaze line.
