A handmade Japanese chawan, matcha bowl, with a thick white shino glaze.
The body is coated in a thick white glaze with a fine, distinct network of dark natural crackles throughout. A noticeable feature is the traditional underglaze iron brushwork on the exterior, showcasing a bold, abstract grid-and-dot motif.
This piece features a low, defined foot exposing the natural dark clay body and the artist's signature.
