Vintage Japanese Kogo, Incense Container - Striped Glaze
A vintage Japanese kogo for incense, rounded rectangular in form, lidded, and sold with its box.
Broad green and iron brown stripes run over a cream ground, the green darkest where it gathers along the two long sides. Inside the lid a small design is moulded into the centre. The base is fluted across its floor and glazed to the same cream.
