Vintage Japanese Kogo, Incense Container - Green Glazed Lid
A vintage Japanese kogo, a lidded container for incense, sold with its inscribed and signed wooden box.
Iron brown chevrons band the pale buff clay and carry up over the lid. Deep green glaze covers the top and pools around a small looped knob. The lid takes up most of the depth and lifts away to a shallow tray beneath.
