Vintage Japanese Katakuchi, Spouted Bowl - Green Glaze
A vintage Japanese katakuchi, a bowl with a pouring spout formed in the rim.
Pale green glaze covers the body and settles into soft blue grey lower down the walls, crazing as it goes. A strap loop arches over the top of the spout, anchored at the rim and again at the tip. The rim rolls outward the whole way round, and the foot is left bare, fired to a warm reddish brown.
