Vintage Japanese Vase - Ash Glaze
A vintage Japanese vase, faceted into angular sides around a square mouth.
A greenish wood ash glaze covers the piece, pitted and pooled across the whole surface, with white speckling and rust orange breaking along the ridges. Darker green settles into the hollows and down toward the foot. The base is ringed in coarse pale clay around a recessed centre.
