Vintage Japanese Square Plate & Dish Set
A vintage Japanese square plate with a matching small round dish, in speckled cream stoneware.
A dark diamond lattice runs around the plate's low walls, with a four-petal flower inside each diamond, and the same pattern wraps the outside of the dish. Both rims are edged in a blue-green glaze. Underneath, the plate rests on two long feet and carries a painted artist's mark.
