A vintage Japanese chawan, originally designed to be used for drinking green tea.
This piece features a thick black Kuro Raku Glaze, and is accentuated by a deep red lacquer kintsugi-style repair across it's body.
I think the vibrance of matcha inside this black bowl would be quite appealing.
