Vintage Japanese Bugaku Mask, Character: Jikyū
A vintage Japanese bugaku mask, representing the character Jikyū.
The face is carved with an angular, deep-set expression, narrow slit eyes and an open mouth, in a warm reddish-brown lacquered finish with lighter wear patterns across the brow and cheeks. A cord passes through drilled holes at the temples for hanging.
