Antique Japanese Indigo Boro Textile
This antique Japanese indigo boro textile is a perfect canvas for mending and textile projects. The fabric features multiple holes and worn areas throughout, characteristic of authentic boro pieces, making it ideal for visible mending techniques, patchwork, or creative textile restoration.
Originally this was used as a futon cover, hand-stitched piece, likely dating back to the Meiji period, c.1890.
