A hand-crafted vintage Japanese lacquered bell shape container, used for the storage of sweets.
This piece features a beautiful azuki colour lacquer with Maki-e ( a Japanese lacquer decoration technique where designs are created by sprinkling gold or silver powder onto wet lacquer, creating intricate and luxurious patterns) and comes with its original box.
