Bugaku Jikyu (舞楽次休) refers to the traditional Japanese Imperial Court dance, Bugaku, particularly its masked dances performed with serene, slow movements and elaborate costumes, often paired, representing ancient Chinese (Left, red) and Korean (Right, green) influences, aiming to appease deities, purify spirits, and pray for peace, a tradition still maintained at shrines and the Imperial Household.
