Kimono Surprise Packs – Available to Purchase Online

At Tombo we have many kimono packaged up for purchase online only. These are our Kimono Surprise Packs and they retail for AU$39.05 plus postage. Each surprise pack contains 3 kimono, these kimono are of good quality, usually more subdued in design and colour. Kimono Surprise Packs are perfect for any kind of craft or sewing project, but they can also be worn as a garment. Kimono Surprise Packs are also an excellent gift idea. You can specifiy a pack colour theme, however, as these packs are already made up you cannot chose your own kimono to put in a pack, this is how we keep the costs down and are able to offer a great deal. Please also note that as these kimono are vintage there may be some imperfections. We do accept returns on kimono surprise packs within 14 days, buyer pays return costs.

Kimono for Craft - Available to Purchase Online

Tombo kimono for craft are our kimono that we offer to purchase online as a kimono surprise pack (see above), these are kimono that are perfect for all kinds of craft, quilting, silk resist dying, felting as well as dress-making. Although we consider them our craft kimono they are very good quality and can also be worn as garments.When you deconstruct, or unpick a hand-made kimono you are left with approximately 10m of patterned outer silk, and if it is a lined kimono, an additional 3m of lightweight silk lining, usually plain colours such as red, pink or cream. Japanese kimono silk is always 35cm wide. Kimono are constructed in panels, 2 panels at the back, 2 panels at the front, 2 sleeve panels, 2 half panels at the front and half panels for the collar. Kimono as a Garment – Available for Purchase in store only

Our Kimono come in a range of different fabrics, patterns and colours. The kimono that you will find in our store are in excellent condition and are ready to be worn as robes or evening garments, they are our most alluring in regards to design and colour.
